There's not much else to say, except that this is one of the best songs on the album.Ī really good song. The whole song is good, while not the best on the album. Probably not the best track on the album, but a good song nonetheless. Good drumming in this song and the guitars and bass sound great in this song. Interesting acousitc start into a very hard rocking song.Īn interesting song. Another song that sounds very well-produced. This track is one of the best on the album and has very good instruments and vocals. The somewhat sick title accompanies an, appropirately, equally sick song. An excellent interlude starts at about 1:25. These song titles get longer every time! Anyway, this is a great song. Again, good, but not the strongest track on the album. Interesting lyrics, but the concept gets tired after a while. Sounds pretty well-produced.Ī good song, but not as good as the previous, in my opinion. The opening is very good and the drumming in this song is fantastic. It also contains a bonus disc filled with music videos and other things.Ī very strong track on the album. This CD contains thirteen tracks, all of which appear on the non-bonus edition of 'Let It Enfold You', and then five bonus tracks: one, a cover of the Suicidal Tendencies 'Institutionalized', another a Senses Fail original, 'American Death', and the other three acousitc versions of other tracks on the album: 'Lady In a Blue Dress', 'Buried a Lie', and 'Rum Is For Drinking, Not For Burning', respectively. Buddy's voice sounds better than ever and the whole album doesn't seem lackadaisical at all and very well-produced. The tracks are excellent and sound very well-produced. Senses Fail produces their most solid record yet with 'Let It Enfold You - Special Edition'. installment of Taste of Chaos preceded the October release of the explosive Still Searching, which they immediately supported on headlining dates with Saosin and Bleeding Through in tow.Review Summary: Good album. A main-stage spot at that summer's Warped Tour and the fall U.K. Senses Fail hit the studio in May 2006 with producer Brian McTernan (Thrice, Cave In) and new guitarist Heath Saraceno (the former Midtown member wound up permanently replacing Miller, who'd previously left the group). Relentless touring persisted before the guys began work on their sophomore effort. The band also contributed a cover of Suicidal Tendencies' "Institutionalized" for 2005's Tony Hawk's American Wasteland video game soundtrack. After more heavy touring and a bit of label drama, 2004's Let It Enfold You, named after a Charles Bukowski poem, was released that September through Vagrant/Drive-Thru a deluxe edition with bonus tracks was issued a year later. A revamped version of the From the Depths of Dreams EP appeared in April 2003 it featured better mixing, one new song, and an acoustic version of "Ground Folds." A tour with the Used wrapped up the year in a successful fashion. Drive-Thru Records took notice and signed the group in late 2002. Senses Fail quickly issued a debut EP through Boston indie ECA and began to play out frequently while spreading the word with a thriving Internet presence. Forming in 2002, SF developed a slick amalgam of post-hardcore chuggery and emo heartbreak that was solidly in line with the sound of other New Jersey groups like Saves the Day. Bergen County, NJ's Senses Fail consisted of vocalist James "Buddy" Nielsen, guitarists Dave Miller and Garrett Zablocki, bassist Michael Glita (ex-Tokyo Rose), and drummer Dan Trapp.
